TUESDAY 15 SEPTEMBER     CAIRNS

It was quite hot again.

In the late morning, drove to Stratford and practiced bowls for a couple of hours.

After a late lunch, John watched the Games. I had a nap, then went for a swim in the late afternoon – it was very pleasant.

Tea was sausages, potatoes and asparagus, and strawberries.

These interludes between adventures make for short entries here, and a lack of photos!
