John alternated between watching the Games on TV and playing his computer game.

I did two loads of washing.

After lunch, I had a long swim and laze about in the very nice pool here.

From our van, can see the train to Kuranda, snaking around, high up on a nearby hill. I took a couple of photos, using the zoom lens.

Tea was steak, fries and salad.

Phoned V. I have to time it so that she is still over at work, where the phone is. And allow for the time difference between here and WA. She and B are going to Perth soon, for a few days of leave. She has just received my letter, written after the Cape trip. She sounds well and happy. They do not have any TV there – lucky her! – and she is not missing it.
